Water

Water plays an important role in our school.

Previously, all rainwater flowed into the sewer system and only 15 000 liters were collected and recovered. Now that capacity has been increased to 150 000 liters. This is used for sanitary purposes.

An infiltration basin was installed under our playground with a size of 145 cubic meters. Every drop that falls on our playground either penetrates the soil through the planting beds or goes through gullies to the infiltration basin under our soccer field.

Our parking lot was also redesigned so that the water that falls on it flows into a wadi. In this way, we no longer have to send rainwater to the sewers.  At the same time we have built a water play area where children will be able to work actively with water.
